Enjoy to facing
I was standing on a Cape Cod beach. In the hot day and surrounded by the sea stretch as far as the eye can see. The quiet place blows a blast of wind. I saw the wide of the sea. I enjoyed the nature. I felt I was so tiny. Suddenly, I realized that I have to dedicate my life to know knowledge as much as I can. In addition, fishing taught me several valuable lessons that will make me interesting in the process of solve problem.
At first, I have to pass a few places to find a good one. It is very hard to walk on the beach. When I arrive at my destination, I immediately feel the place is so different. There were many fish in there. I realized that I must begin with knowledge that may be not directly illustrate and confuse. However, the knowledge will be known when insist.
The fishing makes me to remember my life. As an immigrant I am. When I came to United state I realized how important the English it is. I know my English level close zero. I abhor myself that I didn’t work hard in English in China. I am good at Math. I like to calculate many things before I do. Include my life. I always calculate my life. I calculate what I get when I do something. In China, when I learned English I felt very hard. I didn’t get it at all. I tried to avoid it. I calculate it about the English that I can not get the high grade. I don’t want fail. I focus on the other subject.
When I step in school of United State, I realized I got a wrong calculation. I can not avoid the English any more. I have to face it. I learn it 1 year and half. I discovered more mistakes I got the more knowledge I got. In the learning English I enjoy fail. I enjoy making a mistake. I don’t afraid to learn English and more. At the time, I realized that I will suffer many problems in the future. But I’ll never give up. I’ll face it. I’ll enjoy my mistake.

In the story of Hamlet by William Shakespeare, there are the very famous speeches of all the time. Especially, the line “To be or not to be” (3:1 line 64) that is the most important in the text. That was decided what he would do. A lot of people are still using this sentence today. It made us fell the people who said these sentences are sad. It was also showed us that the person was confused. In the video were acted difference from Kenneth Branagh, Alexander Fodor, and Laurence Olivier. We could see they performed so difference. This speech could express what hamlet’s feeling at that time. We could through the tone and the attitude to criticize the actor performed is good or not. In the video by Kenneth Branagh, he acted before the mirror. I thought that was very propriety as what the hamlet did, because hamlet was asking the question by himself. The mirror was reflected himself. He could ask any question, and the shadow in the mirror was liked listening. That made us thought hamlet was talking to himself. He was confusing what should he does. At the other way, the tone of Kenneth Branagh was also propriety. It was slowly and deep. It made the audience feel the pain in hamlet. In the video by Alexander Fodor, I thought the video inaccurate, especially in this speech. Alexander Fodor speaks too fast. It doesn’t make the audience feel the hamlet was in painful. It also sat there. It doesn’t have a feeling as hamlet in pain. In the video by Laurence Olivier, it also showed it was a good video. I thought that is the good video because there was the good setting. It showed us hamlet was standing before the sea. It also showed hamlet was deciding should live or not live. It also let the audience thought the situation in hamlet. In the book, hamlet thought of commit suicide. “Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles. And, by opposing, end them. To die, to sleep-“(3, 1, 65-68) He was confusing what should he does. It was hard to decide. In the video by Kenneth Branagh, I thought he was act very well. He was staring his shadow in the mirror. He was thinking about himself. It was corresponded the book. The speech was taking to him. If he stared to the shadow in the mirror that was correct. In the video by Alexander Fodor, I don’t think that can show the audience everything about the hamlet, because the light was very bright. It doesn’t feel the pain. And he was speaking very fast. I also thought his emotion was not the hamlet did. In the video by Laurence Olivier, it showed us the good setting as the book “ or to take arms against a sea of troubles.”(3:1 67) That was propriety what the book said. Even though it had showed us the good setting, but compare to the video by Kenneth Branagh, I thought the video by Kenneth Branagh is better. Hamlet only talked to himself. He only used the figure of speech. In the video by Kenneth Branagh, the speech was going on until the line “When he himself might his quietus make with a bare bodkin?” (3:1 83-84) hamlet took out his knife and appoint to the mirror. Suddenly, the picture was showed the king shock. Hamlet was getting closer to the mirror. That was showed us that hamlet would make the king surprise. The also means the king had felt the terrible from hamlet. The music at that time was also terrible. It made us following the direction by hamlet. When the speech goes on, hamlet was getting closer to the mirror. It was like hamlet go to find out the king after the mirror. It also could reflect to the book. I like the video by Kenneth Branagh because Kenneth Branagh could perfectly control the tone. He also showed us his speaking skill. He was standing in front of the mirror. He was facing himself. He also could perfect express what the hamlet did. He just showed his feeling as he experienced what the hamlet experienced. He could properly strong his voice, and controlled the speed. He made us to following his direction. We could also following the direction of the emotion. At the beginning, I wonder how the setting could was only set by the mirror, but until I watched the whole story and compare to the other two video. I thought the mirror was the most important to be setting. After I understand the whole story, I knew he was talking to himself. He was confusing. He could not make a decision. He could talk to his spirit. And the mirror can reflect him. That was as the spirit as the shadow comes out to the audience’s eyes. We could follow his tone and got more than the book. I also think about the costumes of hamlet. It was like the modern noble gentleman. The light was darkness. It made us feel dark in hamlet’s heart. All in all, I thought the video let me think hamlet will showed me how to effect to the king coming soon. Through the tone I can believe that hamlet would suffer the terrible thing before he accomplishes his revenge. I also can think about the king live hard after that, because he was shocking when hamlet took out the knife. He would worry about hamlet revenge. I think that Kenneth Branagh did a great job in re-enacting the scene from the act three scene one. I think he was success to fulfill the character of hamlet. He performed action more than I can image. It also made me more clearly about the story of hamlet. That was why I think the video by Kenneth Branagh was better than the other two people acted.
In Alex Katz’s artworks, there is always express himself through drawing, painting, etc. We can see his situation through the painting, like the “lilies against yellow wall” and “the moose” which may cause by his muse. In his early work the characters and objects shows his feelings. Placing his emotions into his work, he can only paint when he feels a certain way. The similarities in this painting, gives the audience a look into how he feels. The setting of the snow mountain and the yellow glass are feeling sad. In the painting of “the moose” relate to the many of others he painted by the objects. Each object has showed his situation at that time. “The moose” is a simple when looked at but holds many meanings for the painter. It also can see what kind of experience he suffers.
Alex Katz painted the “The moose” on 1983. The pose of the moose would make the reader wonder. The buns of moose were showed in front of the picture which I took notice of. “At a fairly early point he arrived at his signature blending of figure, landscape and abstraction -- not too suave, not too rough, a little goofy, a touch melancholic -- and he has stayed with it.” (Holland 1) The buns are one of the most important parts in the picture. It would make the reader confuse and would think how come this picture would exist. The artist didn’t make the buns of the moose clearly. It was hard to realize it is a moose in the first sight until see the head of the moose. The artist used the raw umber color on the top. And it made it darker and darker when the eyes move towards down. I can’t picture brown, but I can picture the umber color. And the color was showed the artist was very softly and gently to draw that place. Through this color can’t see the shape at all. Just the few lines made very real. The other reason make the reader thought real because the tail is prominent. The color was the same as the buns. The color was increasing different. We still could see the lighter color in the medium of the dark. We can know the artist made the lighter color first, and then cover the dark color.In the back of the moose, it draws by the ghost white and the plum color. It showed the age of moose was old. It is hard to picture these colors on the back of the moose. It liked the snow on the back. It also displayed the cold weather. And let the reader feel painfulness. In that weather, it would made reader to sympathize the moose. We could through these to think about the feeling of the artist at that time. It showed the artist also has some painful in his heart. The shapes on the back like the eagle stretch its plumage cover on the moose. It showed the moose want to has the plumage and fly away. The eye of the eagle was sharp. The tail of the eagle is the same place on the tail of the moose. The ghost white and the shapes of the color are obviously separate the eagle and the moose. The line of the feather is decreasing when is going down the picture. It showed very real because the size of the eagle is correspond the standard of the eagle. There are no different pose are alike. Just looking at her hair, it is also different some is look denser than some. It had told us that the Alex Katz’s wife at different period. It was the different age. It had told us that Alex Katz very love his wife. No matter how old she was.
The most eye-catching point in the painting is the man who is on the right. It is also is as the picture on the painting. All pictures are drawn in Alex Katz’s wife. In the picture of that man suppose it is Alex Katz. Alex Katz is looking on his wife’s different pose. He also looked his wife on different period. It could express Alex Katz care for his wife every time. He also cares for his wife every change. It had told the viewer he love his wife more than everyone. But Alex Katz is not a real person in the painting. He drew himself as the picture in the painting. It could represent he was separated a distant from her. His wife only can do something for him as look at the picture.

In this painting, Katz cordons off a cultural space in which this elegant woman is an object of esthetic appreciation--from many different angles--though not particularly an object of overt desire. The color of the cordon is yellow. Yellow is the color that would catch the viewer’s attention as the traffic light why use on the cross street. Alex Katz was on purpose to show cordon, and let the view know that is one person. That’s was his wife.
In the first expression of the painting, it looked like the camera in the middle, and took the picture of them. The light in the middle is brighter than two sides. It looks like a dream. How could six the same people stand together. The dream about the same person at the different age gets it together. Alex Katz thinks that he would do his subject no matter what. “found my subject matter and a reason to devote my life to painting,'' he has written.” (Grace)
The “black dress” may imply that Alex Katz is not satisfied with the people will be old, especially in his wife. He needs to draw it down on the paper. The painting can be interpreted in two different ways; he wants to watch his wife forever and draw his wife. The other way is his wife watch him and is waiting for him at different period. In fact, everything in the world is running. It would never stop. Even though the “black dress” can cover up some of the change, but it can’t cover up the whole change.
The third painting is “Ada and Alex” also done with oil between 1980. In the painting, the first thing that caught my eyes was the man who is Alex. The age of Alex Katz is younger than right now. He is 82 years old at this year. The color on Alex Katz is displayed young. But he didn’t smile. It showed Alex Katz is cool. “Everyone in Katz's world is a cool cat.”(Lennie 12) Include Alex Katz himself. He also made himself be a part of the painting. He made himself cooler than everyone that he drew. He wears the business suit as something formal. His head is lean some angle. It showed he cares his space less than he cares his wife. He wife set on the middle. The most part occupy by his wife. It had told us his wife is most important in his life. “his wife and muse” (Kathryn, 1) His wife as the muse in his artwork. He would think his wife when he was drawing the picture. That is a reason why he likes to portrait of the people, especially in his wife.
The woman on the left is Alex Katz’s wife. In the first impression in the painting is there is a woman smile. Why Ada was smiling?” We don't know why she's smiling when she does, or at whom, if anyone.”(Faye 9) Maybe Alex Katz thinks Ada in his heart is the good person who can make him happy. She can make many great time in Alex Katz’s memory. Ada’s head raise little bit as she needs to look at the far distant. It made us think about there is something we don’t know. There is a secret in her mind.” the slightly upturned corners of her mouth make her look as though she is keeping a secret.”(Faye 10) Nobody knows what’s in her mind except Alex Katz.

In the painting of the moose by the artist Alex Katz, it showed the reader the moose in front of the mountain and lake. The pose of the moose would make the reader wonder. The buns of moose were showed in front of the picture. The buns are one of the most important parts in the picture. It would make the reader confuse and would think how come this picture would exist. The artist didn’t make the buns of the moose clearly. It was hard to realize it is a moose in the first sight until see the head of the moose. The artist used the raw umber color on the top. And it made it darker and darker when is going down. I can’t picture brown, but I can picture the umber color. And the color was showed the artist was very softly and gently to draw that place. Through this color can’t see the shape at all. Just the few lines made very real. The other reason make the reader thought real because the tail is prominent. The color was the same as the buns. The color was increasing different. We still could see the lighter color in the medium of the dark. We can know the artist made the lighter color first, and then cover the dark color.In the back of the moose, it draws by the ghost white and the plum color. It showed the age of moose was old. It is hard to picture these colors on the back of the moose. It liked the snow on the back. It also displayed the cold weather. And let the reader feel painfulness. In that weather, it would made reader to sympathize the moose. We could through these to think about the feeling of the artist at that time. It showed the artist also has some painful in his heart. The shapes on the back like the eagle stretch its plumage cover on the moose. It showed the moose want to has the plumage and fly away. The eye of the eagle was sharp. The tail of the eagle is the same place on the tail of the moose. The ghost white and the shapes of the color are obviously separate the eagle and the moose. The line of the feather is decreasing when is going down the picture. It showed very real because the size of the eagle is correspond the standard of the eagle. The expression of the eagle is also showed very real.The one of most attract and catch the reader’s sight may be the eye of the moose. It almost set on the center of the picture. The little rectangle enclose by the white color, it display the spirit of the moose. The litter rectangle was surrounded by ivory black. At the edge of the eye, the artist made a little gray color lighter and lighter reflect the angle of the ray. It showed particularity detail. It could prove the artist was concentrated on that time. It also showed the propriety mix.The hole of the nose is also worth while to pay attention on. Perhaps the most reader wouldn’t see the hole of the nose, but the artist made it bigger than used to. It used the brick color to show the clear menu. There are many black spot cover on the brick color. It showed the ray shine different, and the distant between moose and people. It also considered the limit of the human being eyesight. In the clear menu contain the paste. We could see the wise skill of the artist. May the reader would think why the horns so big and how come the color is so oddball. Is it the most important thing as the thing in the head? When we were still focusing on the horns, we can see the horns like the tree. The tree is very important at this place. We couldn’t see any tree but the shadow in the lake. That could let us thought the moose couldn’t leave there. It belongs to there. We also could think the artist has some thing want to do, but he couldn’t accomplish it.During looking at the moose, the yellow thing may catch our sight. Let us follow it down and think what it is. When we distract and focus on the yellow thing we could see that is the glass. It already is yellow. At that situation, it may tell us it is fall and is going to winter. It made us slop over. The winter always made people felt bad. It would remind the reader the pity thing or bad memory or so on. We could think the artist has some unhappy thing in his mind. He also wanted to show us that he has the bad situation in his live. There still have some sea green dark color and white color mix in the yellow grass. The shapes of the grass are point to the moose. It looks as the moose made them be yellow and wilted them. At here, the artist express his live is dark. It displayed he did something wrong. At the back of the moose, there is the lake and mountains were drawn by steel blue and steel blue light. It is hard to believe the sky such dark. It doesn’t have any green color on the mountain. It doesn’t have anything on the mountain but stone. It means it doesn’t have any tree on the mountain. It showed it doesn’t have any energy on this place. It likes anything will be end soon. The color of the sky could tell us the time close to dark. That day is close to end. It doesn’t have delight thing. At this point, we could know the artist already be old man. He felt his live doesn’t have delight thing as young any more. He felt his live is grey. He also made us feel that he will be end.

Portrait painting Alex Katz
Alex Katz is an American figural artist associated with the Pop art movement. In particular, he is known for his paintings, sculptures, and prints. Internationally recognized painter and printmaker Alex Katz was born in 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. A retrospective of his paintings was shown at the Whitney Museum of American Art in 1986. In 1988 the Brooklyn Museum exhibited his prints. The Saatchi Collection in London presented a 25-year survey of his paintings in 1998. This interview with Alex Katz took place in September 1998 in his studio. It was published on Art2u in 1999. (Walker, par1) Because one of the three museums shows of your work is an exhibition of paintings of your wife, Ada, The material from the museum quotes Irving Sandler, that Ada "is woman, wife, mother, muse, model, sociable hostess, myth, icon, and New York goddess.” How the forty portraits (from 1957 forward) indicate these various aspects of Ada, we’ll leave to others to determine. He had said in an interview with Brian Appel that you “ran into Ada in ’57.”(Kotzin, Par20) During his first ten years as a painter, Katz admitted to destroying a thousand paintings. Since the 1950s, he worked to create art more “freely” in the sense that he tried to paint “faster than [he] can think.” His works seem simple, but according to Katz they are more reductive, which is fitting to his personality. In 1994 Cooper Union Art School created the Alex Katz Visiting Chair in Painting with the endowment provided by the sale of ten paintings donated by the artist.
Base on the newspaper that I had read, I had some idea emerge in my mind. And that made me see the painting in their eyes. In the other way, I also wonder how he could paint his wife as the painting put in the exhibition. But he made his wife more than a people in the painting. It also showed his skill is very well. The pieces of his art that I like the most is the painting name “My mother’s dream”, it takes a similar approach four section, each passage of brushy gray competing with blue, again. Its sky through a canopy of trees, leaves stipple the air, positive and negative space shift into and out of each other. In the other painting, the homely painting directed the eye into its depths and away from the relentless flatness found in the more recent print, as though acknowledging a path taken and the possibility that beauty might be more than skin deep.

A recent exhibition generously sampled Alex Katz’s many portraits of his wife, Ada, providing a synopsis of the artist’s career and a microcosm of an era. “Ada,” as Alex has painted her, is more than a person, as the best portrait personas usually are. (Good-life Ada) Alex Katz was born in New York City in 1927, and studied art at the Cooper Union from 1945 to 1949. He is a leading figure painter of the new realism movement in contemporary art. In the late 1950s, he found himself among a growing number of artists dissatisfied with the then-dominant stream of abstract expressionism, with its emphasis on formal abstraction. In the 1960s, he taught painting in New York. At a fairly early point he arrived at his signature blending of figure, landscape and abstraction—not too rough, a little goofy, a touch melancholic—and he has stayed with it. (The 60’s) Such images radiate a stylish-style classiness that is easy to savor. And their depictions of sociability, of people living in unostentatious comfort in city and country, have long made Mr. Katz particularly appealing to the art establishment, people who think of art and themselves in term of “us.” Gesture and pose the quirk of on eyebrow, the slant of a shoulder are small things that convey a lot, and at any scale, Katz is a master, this show speaks to his profound skill with paint and his absorption in solving the problem of his medium. In the video of the Hamlet Act 1 Scene4-5, the video was very good. I saw many terrible scenes. There were a lot of mists surrounding by the place. The actors had acted so mean. Their eyes always stare on each other and never close. The water was boiling. The trees were withered. It would make the audience nerves. It also exaggerated. We can’t image the action like that before watch the video. The video showed terrible not only the pictures terrible, but also the sounds made us felt tense.
At the beginning of the video, it showed us a lot of picture that made us tense. The announcer spoke fast and hard. The pictures also changed so fast. It was hard to take breathe. It had the other feeling emerge on the brain. We would think that it would come out something terrible. At first, the last king came out. He used his hand pulled on hamlet’s neck. And he made him down on the floor. The book didn’t describe this part. The book only talked hamlet followed his father’s spirit. They started to conversation. On the video, it showed us the last king’s action. We would wonder why he did that. Why he need to treat hamlet so hard when their met? He need hamlet to help him to revenge. On the other hand, it might make us think about how pain he was. Even though the book doesn’t have this, but this action also may help audience clearly what’s going on.
When the last king said” I could a tale unfold whose lightest word would harrow up thy soul, freeze thy young blood,” the surrounding place was rising the water. The place showed us that about something outlaw had happen. We could feel that the earth was angry. We could relate this think something bad on last king. The video was good. We could catch the point of the scene. We could know that’s important. It made us impress. The video always showed us the water that was boiling when last king was talking. We could think his words as if water boils. His story was boiling. We could through the surrounding place and their action to think what the story was going on. We could have the clear scene on our mind.
The scene after the surrounding place, when the last king said” murder”, the video only showed the last king’s mouth. It let us concentrated on his month and what was he talking. The sound of the last king was unclear. It had the sad emotion. And the sounds were lower than normal. We would more focus on the sentence. And we would consider the sentence. The sounds of the murder made the hamlet wondered. Because no body knew the last king was murder. At this time, at this place, the actor acted last king that we would feel very real.
The video showed the action of the queen and hamlet’s uncle when last king was talking about the queen and hamlet’s uncle did badly for him. The queen was very happy played with hamlet’s uncle. The tone of the last king was weightiness. It showed the last king was sad. The speed of the words was also slower than the normal. We could have time to watch more information. We could view the queen and hamlet in the last king’s eyes. We could tell how bad the queen and hamlet’s uncle were. The sentence of the last king always said hamlet’s uncle was bad, but never talked about the queen. This could tell us that the last king still love her. And that also showed the gentleman the last king was. He didn’t want put the guilt on the woman. At this information, the reader also would think about how bad the queen was. It also thinks about how weak the women were.

It would made people felt what he felt. At that time, the music was tense. It also pulled the reader get into the climax.
There was the good scene in the video. The actor acted hamlet’s uncle was real good. He would shake his face when he killed last king. His face also showed us that he very scares. His expression liked he real kill someone. After that, the last king said “horrible”. The first time was hard to hear, because it spoke very low. The second time was clear. We also couldn’t say anything after recall something like that. In the last king’s expression showed painful. The light on his face was very dark. It was hard to see his face. I plan to write my Research paper on Alex Katz. I chose Alex Katz because his work was easier to understand than most of the other artist that I searched. His style was different from the other artist. The other artist made their work were abstract that were hard to understand. Nobody could know what the real meaning is. The Alex Katz’s art are simple. People could know what they are even though they don’t have the paint talent.
Some pieces of his works that I have found interesting are VIVIEN WITH BASEBALL HAT; which I believe it show the very real life as what the people use to do. He worked to create art more “freely” in the sense that he tried to paint “faster than he can think.” His works seem simple, but according to Katz they are more reductive, which is fitting to his personality.
An idea that I had for my thesis was how he used figural art to represent his point. He used the simple that are still having a lot of meaning.

In the A thousand splendid suns, it showed us the Afghanistan life in the dark, Especial the women. It also showed us how splendid they life even though live in the violent family. It doesn’t have a person can depend on. It doesn’t have something can make them laugh. In the A thousand splendid suns, there is a girl who name Laila. Her parents just died. Fortunately, she was serviced. But fate always liked to be miserable. She was serviced by Rasheed a man who always hurt his wife. At the beginning, Laila feel bad about lose her parents. But wave did not stop another. The worst new was passed to her. Her boyfriend was death. At the same time, Laila knew her already pregnant. In that situation, she has no choice. She doesn’t have a person can depend on. She was helpless. Under that condition, she was agreeing to marry Rasheed. Laila bear a lot of pain live with Rasheed. She always wants to leave, but suffered many things encumber. She was still stay at Rasheed’s house and born a baby for him. Laila was very poor. Who knows there is a big secret between Rasheed and Laila? Rasheed was cheating on Laila. At the end of the story, Tariq showed up. He was still alive. He didn’t die. This big secret makes Laila suffer a lot of bad thing. The big secret changes her life.
“Get away, you!” Zalmai cried. “Hush,” Mariam said. ”Who are you yelling at?” He pointed. “There. That man.” Laila followed his finger. There was a man at the front door of the house, learning against it. His head turned when he saw them approaching. He uncrossed his arms. Limped a few steps toward them. Laila stopped. At here the author uses Zalmai to lead the reader into the secret. Zalmai has the good relationship with Rasheed. When Zalmai saw Tariq, he not has a good feeling. He cried. He also said; “Get away, you!” At that moment is the right moment to reveal the secret. The author makes the reader to feel the Zalmai has known it would change the fate at that person. His reaction illuminates he has the revolt against Tariq. At the time, Mariam was present. The author also make Mariam is the important character. She can do many things for Laila. That’s the right moment to reveal the secret because Mariam was present. If Mariam not there that make the reveal secret can not make sense. Laila can not go away with Tariq. But Mariam was there. She killed Rasheed and make Laila go out with Tariq.
“You duped me. You lied to me,” Laila said, gritting her teeth. “You had that man sit across from me and…You knew I would leave if I thought he was alive,” At here Laila knows the secret and she showed us how was her felling. She said:” You duped me. You lied to me,” Duped means lied. The author emphasizes Laila was agitated at that time. The author also emphasizes the secret was divulging affect the character. Laila gritting her teeth showed she was nerves. She also showed us that about how important the secret it is. At that moment, Laila said:” You knew I would leave if I thought he was alive.” The author through the words of Laila to the reader thought about her life. And the author makes the reader to think about her life if Laila knows the secret earlier.
“AND YOU DIDN’T LIE TO ME?” Rasheed roared. “You think I didn’t figure it out？About your harami? You take me for a fool, you whore?” At here the author showed us about Rasheed keeps the secret that nobody knows. Even though Laila ever escaped, Rasheed still keeps the secret. At this time, this is the right moment that the author to reveal the secret, because before the sentence everybody would think about how bad Rasheed was, and how good Laila was. But after Rasheed reveals the secret, it affects the plot. On this moment, Rasheed reveals the secret not only make all fault to the Laila there, but also he got an advantage. He roared and he said the bad words to make his secret were more important. The author makes the secret keep it all the time. When Rasheed’s secret was known, at the same time, it reveals her secret. At that time to reveal that’s contributes to he blame Laila and hit Laila later on. This secret also let Mariam make a decision to kill Rasheed. Mariam knew Rasheed is a person who is by hook or crook.

After I got my grade, I have to change my method of study. I can not be lazy anymore. In my grade, at first, I can see that I was not really can express what I think in essay. My essay always gets a low grade. And I can see the different between Chinese and English. And my writing skill was not good. I didn’t read enough books. Second, I can see I didn’t hard work enough. My vocabulary grade was also very low. I was not very clear the vocabulary, but I didn’t ask for help. At third, I can see I didn’t do my best in the class. I see the participation was the worse part in my grade. This can state me didn’t join the class activity. And I can see the different style between China and United State. I was very disappointed what I got. I regret I didn’t do my best and hard work. In the new quarter, I will change my attitude of study. I will read as much as I can. I will ask for help when I confuse. I will do my best in the class. I will try to get a higher grade than before.
